The Baltic Sea is the unique true European sea, gathering nine countries and 90 million people: its coastline offers more than 8000 kms of dreamlandscapes and savage sandy beaches. But its environment is seriously endangered by the proliferation of conventional and chemical weapons lying on its seabeds, a secret legacy of World War I and II.
